People Drive Technology…
Not the other way around.
I love technology because it allows me and many others to make peoples lives more entertaining, efficient, and it bridges the gap between people who would have never met.
That’s my answer when people ask me why I do what I do.
Yesterday, we launched ReadBurner mobile. That was fun. Some really talented folks wrote about it. That was awesome.
But more awesome was the people who took a picture of themselves using it when I asked them to. I just asked. I wasn’t trying to make their lives difficult or add to their long to-do lists. I just asked. And people responded.
I love technology. But I love people more. And people drive the technology we build.
ReadBurner is for the people. Because dammit, we want cool news.
